timeless values

Christian values built our civilisation- human dignity, truth, duty and forgiveness, anchor my public life. They guide my decisions, my votes, and my priorities - and that of Australian Christians.

FREEDOM

Free to speak, believe and raise our kids

Freedom is not a gift from government, nor is it some nice concession; it is an inherent right.

I believe in free speech, freedom of conscience and the ability to share and hold those views openly. I support faith-based schools and charities to operate according to their principles without fear of being shut down or cancelled.

Any law that trespasses on these rights should be opposed and, where it already exists, repealed.

Pro-life

life

Protect every child. Support every mother.

Life begins at conception, and every life should be protected. Being pro-life also means being pro-mum, which is why I support pregnancy support centres, adoption pathways, and sufficient pre- and post-abortion support.

I support high quality, accessible palliative care and aged care across our regions. I want to live in a society where every life is valued, from conception to natural death.

faith

faith

Core beliefs in public life.

Australians should be free to worship openly in the public square. People’s faith is core to their identity, and as such, their right to live in accord with their religious values is non-negotiable in a free society.

We know that the separation of Church and State was meant to prevents the Government from controlling religious institutions; it was never meant to silence people of faith. As such, I am an unapologetic advocate for Christians in public life.

family

The building blocks of society.

Strong families are the heart of a healthy society, meaning we cannot have a thriving nation without thriving families.  This is why I back tax reforms such as income-splitting, which give families a financial choice.

I support full curriculum transparency, age-appropriate content, and politically neutral schools.

And, of course, I believe in protecting parents’ rights to raise and educate their children.

We also need support services for families when things get tough, which is why I advocate for access to rebated counselling sessions for families.
